How do I find the right size?

Each product page includes a size chart in the description section. Our suits and tuxedos follow standard US sizing (36-48 with regular and long options). Waistcoats use S-XXL sizing. If you are between sizes, we recommend going up for a more comfortable fit, especially for slim-cut styles.

What is the difference between tailored fit and slim fit?

Tailored fit offers a clean silhouette with slightly more room through the chest and waist — ideal for men who want a sharp look without a restrictive feel. Slim fit is cut closer to the body throughout, with a narrower shoulder and tapered waist. Both are modern cuts; the choice depends on your body type and comfort preference.

Can I get my suit altered?

Yes. We recommend having your suit pants hemmed to your exact inseam and the jacket sleeves adjusted if needed. Any reputable tailor can make these standard adjustments. The suit is constructed to allow for common alterations.

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, all orders ship free within the United States with no minimum purchase. Standard shipping takes 3-7 business days. Express shipping (1-2 business days) is available for an additional fee at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship only to US addresses. International shipping is not available at this time.

How long does order processing take?

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and have all tags attached. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the return.

How do I exchange for a different size?

Contact us at info@shopblackwoodformen.com to initiate an exchange. Size exchanges are free within the 30-day return window. We will provide a return label and ship the new size once we receive the original item.

Product Care

How should I care for my suit or tuxedo?

Most of our wool blend and polyester-wool garments are dry clean only. Always check the care label inside the garment. Hang suits on wide wooden hangers to maintain shoulder shape, and store in a breathable garment bag.

Can I machine wash the waistcoats?

It depends on the fabric. Wool and silk jacquard waistcoats should be dry cleaned. Check the care label for specific instructions. Velvet waistcoats should be dry cleaned to maintain the pile.
